Hello! I am a high school student graduating from Dreyfoos School of
the Arts this June. I started painting pets in 2018, after teaching
art classes and private lessons. Recently, I have won two
Scholastics Art and Writing Awards: an Honorable Mention in 2020 and
a Silver Key in 2021. I prefer to work in acrylic paint, but have
dabbled in oils and digital media.
I plan to attend Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in the
fall to study Mechanical Engineering. While you might be wondering
how an artist is also interested in entering a STEM field, the
combination of technical perspective and creativity are perfect for
both portraiture and mehcanical design.
